At the Iowa Farm Table
Pull up a chair.
At the Iowa Farm Table is a short-form podcast from the Iowa Food System Coalition exploring the people, ideas, and questions shaping Iowa’s food and farming future.
Iowa is one of the most productive agricultural states in the country, with deep farming knowledge, rich soils, strong communities, and generations of people who know how to grow, raise, process, prepare, and share food. At the same time, many Iowans are asking how our food system can create more opportunity for farmers, strengthen rural economies, improve access to fresh food, support healthy communities, and care for the land and water we all depend on.
Hosted by author, journalist, and Iowa farmer Beth Hoffman, each episode brings big food system questions down to earth through accessible stories and thoughtful conversations. From land access and local food purchasing to farm viability, food hubs, school meals, conservation, and community resilience, the podcast highlights people building a stronger food future across Iowa.
The podcast is produced by the Iowa Food System Coalition, a statewide network of more than 60 organizations working together to advance a thriving, resilient, and equitable food system for all Iowans.
